As seen in the galleries and read in the “About Us” page we are a North West Company that caters to sportsman who likes rugged yet functional rifles. The great thing about using Gun North to build your next rifle is we have many years of experience and knowledge in the AR platform, plus the ability to use the best parts from all the top tier manufactures. The problem with off the shelf AR’s you are stuck with using that particular manufactures components. They may have a solid base rifle, but you may be throwing good money away changing out stocks, handguards, triggers and other parts to complete the rifle to your wants & needs. Why not just have us build the rifle you want with the parts you want the first time to your exact specifications? We can build rifles in 5.56, 300 BLK, 6.8 SPC, 458 SOCOM, 6.5 Grendel, 7.62 and others too. We have a 07 manufacturing license and SOT credentials, so ordering silencers or building SBR’s is not problem. (All NFA Laws Apply)

For AR-15 builds some customers have their own lower receiver already, however if you are starting from scratch, may we suggest Noveske® for forged and Mega® ,Seekins ® or Black Rain® for billet.

Barrels – Our barrel selections are recommended for the best accuracy. The most popular tend to be Noveske®, AAC® Daniel Defense® & Krieger®, Lilja® or Spikes®

Stocks & Handguards – We have had success with Magpul®, Bravo Company®, Daniel Defense®, Precision Reflex®, Noveske® and Centurion Arms® because of their expanded utility, durability and proven performance in military and law enforcement applications.

Scopes – Depending on your intended use, whether it is self-defense, hunting or target shooting, there are many great choices. Leupold® is great scope and value. The VX-R has been very popular because it offers a lighted reticle for low light applications. Nightforce®, Aimpoint®, Eotech® and Trijicon® are others that are commonly used. Whatever your preference, chances are we stock it, or can special order it.

Triggers– We recommend American Gold®, Geissele ® and Wilson® as they are all great choices.
Accessories- We also stock and special order different accessories for the custom AR-15, quick detach scope mounts, Tritium sight inserts, slings, flashlight, lasers and more. Just let us know what you want and we will get the job done!

Finishes – We stock Cerakote® and have done many colors, Basic black is still the most popular, however coyote brown is right up there and then there’s my favorite, two tone black/ olive. Let us know, maybe your color combo might set the new trend!

Now that you have that receiver/s in your safe, it’s time to build it/them into a rifle to be proud of. We will make that dream rifle a reality! We will build your gun to your specification and you will have a rifle you can count on for any application.

For most AR builds, we charge our normal shop time of $75 per hour plus parts. We can get a lot done in an hour too! We do not use any parts standards as there are so many different manufactures and many times we use what is available as long as it is from a reputable manufacture and of best quality. Please let us know what you are looking for and we will make sure your rifle is built to specifications and functions with the upmost reliability.
